Colors and blossoms reminded me of Asia, so....The apple tree in our garden three weeks ago. Only cropped and slightly sharpened in Photoshop, no other editing. Picture taken with Canon EOS 30D.

This is very lovely. I can imagine a red satin Asian-style dress with those white flowers embroided onto it. In fact, I'm sure if I dig through my mom's clothes enough, I can find one 
Is the blurred red background red flowers or something?

The first thing that came to my mind was Japanese cherry blossoms because of the red and white. Really nice color contrast, especially the green leaves against the red. The only thing I'd change is the one flower that's out of focus at the top. Although it does increase the depth of the shot, it feels a little out of place.

Doesn't remind me of Asia at all, but the mix of gentle green-white and blood red looks really great!
