Description After I submitted the green Fantasy CSS design I received a few requests for a blue version. So now here you get it!

Original: [link]

I used some dragon stock pictures. Thank you =JLStock and =Shoofly-Stock for providing such wonderful 3D renders!!! Dragon pattern from ~bihen .

I also have made a different version of the header with a fire-breathing dragon. Go and watch it! [link]
If you'd like to use this alternative version please read the instructions and replace the link for the original header with the URL I named in the text.

Download the zip-file, unzip and read the instructions. Please credit me in your journal!

Live journal: [link]

NOTE: You are allowed to use this layout for your journal and if you wish you can tweak the code and the graphics for your own custom purposes. I'd appreciate it to see your result but at least it is required to give me credits. Thank you!

Hey, I wanted to share this >>> [link] I want to use your journal template for one of my groups and this is the coloration I came up with for it. I thought it would be fun to have a contest to let the members redesign the dragon. The journal header will eventually have the same image that is in the footer area, but vertically flipped. I plan to delete the link above after the contest.

Thank you for sharing your css/html.

Hey, I mentioned in my previous comment wanting to have a contest at my group for the members to draw a new dragon for the header. Well, now that the contest is over, I want to share with you the final look that the group decided. the-dragon-fans.deviantart.com...

Thank you for sharing your css/html It was fun.

Is it okay if I make some layouts and offer them on my page, if i credit you for using your CSS? I know how to code it on my own, but quite frankly am too lazy/busy to do so. if not, that is fine, I will just use them for ym own personal use! Wonderful, I might add! Thansk a ton! (pardon typos, my hands are crampy)

excuse me but how do you feature deviations in a journal??

also, this is very well done.

This is a great skin, thanks for making it free to use. Although due to the way dA changed how to use journal skins you may wish to update the instructions. In the file 'FantasyHTML_db' should go under header, footer remains the same, and so does css.

This is so nice! I am making a journal now, but I am having a little problems with where the boxes should be and so on.
May I trace on your boxes?
Haha I have problems xD

You can copy what ever you want.

Haha, I just figured out HOW DIFFICULT IT IS xD
Do I have to program and adjust all the boxes on the html code?

If you know what you do a text editor is enough.

Lilyas In reply to Diraira [2010-03-18 14:58:04 +0000 UTC]

Well, I am sorry. You should have a basic understanding of computers and software to edit HTML or CSS codes. Otherwise I see no chance.

Mr-Asquith [2010-01-24 03:14:17 +0000 UTC]

Hello. I'm below beginner, I have a question that I know is going to sound very... silly.

I have photoshop (elements, not the full version), but is there a particular format the document needs to be in for me to create the function boxes (i.e. date, comment, text etc.) that you were writing about?

I literally do not know where to start, but I'm trying to learn. I know I could (and probably should) find out somewhere else instead of bugging anyone here on dA, but I was hoping someone here could answer that quick question.

Besides, dA's the only place where I've ever even heard of CSS, so I wouldn't know where else to go for info. *fails*

If there's any quick background info that could help me, I sincerely would be very grateful for the help.

Take care.

Lilyas In reply to Mr-Asquith [2010-01-29 12:50:41 +0000 UTC]

The code is plain text, it can be written in a simple editor. Also I recommend to read some CSS tutorials, there are plenty on DA.

Mr-Asquith In reply to Lilyas [2010-01-29 16:25:14 +0000 UTC]

Thank you, I have done some research, and I'm going to need a little more time than I have on average, so it's going to take a while before I can seriously sit down and get it figured out. Work and School demand 60% of my attention though.

Oh wow, this is really cool looking. I have a question, if someone where to use this, how would they get it in their journal thing? I'm new to the whole subscription thing, and I have no idea how to get the journal skins, at least not the ones that aren't already listed.

I'd really like to use this one. So...if you could please help me. Thanks.

Hi

I just wanted to say that I really like this layout, specially the one with fire

But I actually have a question for you: Have you ever thought about making a purple version of it? If not: is it okay if I try to change the colors in it?
