Okay, it seems I'm the only dunce around here. Why is it asking me for a password after it's been downloaded?

Hm. Do you open it with Adobe Acrobat? If nothing helps I'll send you an unprotected version.

Yeah, I think so. It comes up as a Photoshop file, so maybe that is the problem?

What do you mean your parents won't let you? Why wouldn't they? Maybe an email helps then.

Lily, I just wanted to thank you for this tutorial. It is concise and to the point. Turns out the biggest issue I was having was creating the picture for the journal! THANK YOU!!!

great tutorial. The only thing im having trouble with is that when you resize the broweser window, the graphics in the journal (that should be at the journals width) don't size with the journal. so there's a gap. Like if my title image is 400 pixels wide, but the journal is 500, there are spaces on each side with the image in the middle. How do you account for window resizing?
Thanks and great job!

Thanks a lot for comment, fav and watch!
There is a way to let your browser resize your images but I don't recommend it. You simply do that in the CSS defining your image sizes with width and height = 100%. I always try to design images that way that they look good in a 400 pixels wide window as well as on wide screen.

Thanks for the help. I decided to use an image at a certain width and then lock down the width of the journal itself.

It's a way, too. But the graphics you made also can be made flexible with the right CSS code. Quite easy.

Give me more more more. I'm just now learning how to do journal css and discovered how exciting and easy it is. this tutorial has helped me a little but now I need more. I want to know how to do a sidebar and other little slick things in the journal. You have me hooked. Bring it on. Thank you.
