I'm not really an abstract art person but the colours in this make me like it a lot. If you don't mind my asking, how'd you get the acrylic to look almost pastel-y, or pencil-y? Do you use very little water or something?

Sorry, I didn't mention that, the trick is that I used pastels for the basic background indeed. I think it wouldn't be that easy to make acrylics looking like that. Really, I should have mentioned that. Sorry, if I've confused you.
I am glad you like this abstract!

Heehee, it's okay! No wonder it looked like pastel to me.

You're welcome and you are right about abstract art. I'll just have to settle for having it in my faves to go and look at.

A colourist view of the inevitable! Very powerful and a well thought-out composition.

I like the colors and shapes you used very much. It's so bright and joyous. The yellow adds a whole lot to it. Really nice work.

Oil? Oil is interesting because you can change the colour application for many hours. Acrylics are dry within a few minutes.
