More material from the summer shoot with Antonio! This is a sample from the body painting part. Look into his mysterious eyes.....Those eyes are not green by the way. You see a reflection of a green meadow in his iris plus the colors of the red fabric he is wrapped in.

I know a lot of artists try to take a shot like this with the eyes being the only focus and just something colourful to fit as a frame. Most of them don't get it right... you nailed it!
Your picture is wonderful in its simplicity, colour, contrast... just everything seems right about this one. Especially the eyes - the reflection and the lashes - are so amazing.

Hmm...
I like the contrasts in this photo. The red and brown and black make a very good set of hues to work with, particularly because of the clarity of the cloth face cover.
But, I find that the black face paint fully "drowning" the eye is a bit dull, despite the colors in his eyes. It makes his right eye look sleepy, so I think omitting a bit around his eye would have fixed that.
Great photo though.
