Description
This is my humble contribution to the THINK PINK II Contest held by `JunkbyJen . It won the first prize in the contest! This design is available as free CSS journal template.Credits for the header picture go to ~NAKOOT . He kindly has let me use one of his 3D renders. Thank you!

The idea of using soft and sharp spheres is fine to me, I see it as a 3d translation for the filled circle symbol, only in biology and genealogy it sometimes denotes the female sex (then square stands for male), and making it as a perfectly geometrical shape, is suggesting a hope for our modern women to have a perfect health.
I see you have worked hard in this concept, I like the arrow which moves on the buttons, it is looking original to me, I like the idea of adding ornaments, I suggested to add some of them on behind the spheres ( filled circles too ) which would mean to add some feminine and visual rhythms.
However the management of an idea like that can be much better, for an example I would not use the dark color in something like that, it adds a non needed dramatic effect to the scene, while I would need it to look feminine. the ornaments at bottom and over the small dots in the entries needed better rendering. I like the buttons at right rendering, just wanted them to be more lighter in color value, and the typeface is really not presenting this layout. a light weight of Helvitca may even work better

I greatly appreciate your input, my friend! To be honest I didn't really think on analogies or something. I just wanted to makes something nice and it had to be pink (for the contest). I cannot second your opinion that the black doesn't match the the layout. To me it really does. Pink and black or red and black are classical color combinations indeed. And about the font: Of all fonts I tried I found the best that I have used. I am not quite fond of Helvetica. But I think there could be a better one. I just had none. The two graphics on the right side are just featured deviations from the "Think Pink" gallery.

Look here: this CSS template is just so SPLENDIDLY well done as far as I personally am concerned, my most magnificent darling Lily, and I just honestly think that it is such a most welcome and worthy entry in the spirit of the Think Pink II competition that you and I have had a grand helluva blast entering, I must tell you right now!!! 
The shiny pink marbles are outstandingly designed, the font choices are just superb, and the overall use of pink is truly and most fabulously excellent!!! It is *such* an absolutely welcome entry into this competition indeed, along with many other great entries as well including my own original artwork entry called “A Silky Pink Bliss”... ABSOLUTELY 110% YES FROM ME, so a phenomenal job from you on creating it!!!
