Emma Frost... The White Queen, my very favorite member of the X-Men.I did this piece for the best reason there is: I just felt like it. I learned so, so much while working on this, which definitely makes the whole thing worth it.
Photoshop CS5.5 with a Wacom Intuos 3. 2 weeks.

I was hoping for that. One of the parts of her character that fascinates me the most is that despite the outward appearances she puts on, I think Emma has a lot of sadness in her. Thanks for the comment!

I bailed out of the X-men comics before her whole redemption storyline, the last I saw of Emma she was stealing Storm's body. But people in life who aren't naturally evil are often sad even at the height of their power.
