Rain. The sound and water surrounding you. Cold, the shivers going through you. Walking. Your legs in pain with all the miles you've been going through, dirt on your face with tears going over your face making tear stains. You are a poor girl, abused, and abandoned by your parents. You were never needed where you were, which made you want to kill yourself, but you never brought yourself to. So, you ran away from the pain that this household made you feel. You surely knew that you would hit rock bottom, but you never did. You decided to run away and try to survive. You've been going for four weeks now, no one has sent a search party for you, but you knew they wouldn't. They; your parents wouldn't give one single moment to worry about you, no time at all. You put your hand over your wound, which was on your ribs. You cracked them when you tried to steal a piece of bread and the baker decided to teach you a lesson. Your sight was blurry, but you saw a dark gate. With your free hand you, extend it towards the gate and grabbed the pole. You slowly fell unconscious with one word escaping your lips, "I-I regret... nothing..." Your eyes closed with the darkness welcoming you. You surely didn't regret anything, what your going through right now-- is nothing. Nothing compared to the things that happened in your old household, well you wouldn't call it home; you would call it hell.
