Okay, so this is the first eight days of the 30 days challenge [link] I'm doing. I'm fairly satisfied with how they came out and I'm looking forward to the next days' themes, which seem increasingly interesting and guaranteed to take me out of my comfort zone. Most of these I've already put on my Tumblr.1. cartoony style - I didn't notice I was supposed to do a self-portrait so I just did a Gravity falls fanart. Yay for cheap amateurish vintage textures!
2. drunken woman - I did two drunken girls instead, Natalie (tattoo) and Mara (beat up) and a sober Avery.
3. something made of glass - mom's Ikea vase.
4. pleasing scenary - i really didn't understand what this was about so I drew some lovey-dovey-ness with Ron and Hermione.
5. a doodle - Mara dancing, inspired from the upcoming Step up revolution movie.
6. medieval - A Megan in high-class medieval dress.
7. ethnic - ah, the stereotypes on french people. Yeah, Iris is half French!
8. self portrait in favorite artist's style - this turned out as a mashup of ~Phenylketonurics and ~Mesteno 's cartoony styles. Oh well.
This was really fun! I'll put up another batch next week, lemme know whatcha think!

Haha I actually thought that Gravity Falls cartoony picture was a screenshot or something. XD
Basically though I like all of these a lot. I know I say this every time I see your art, but really your hair and faces are awesome! Also, I like the way you draw hands. The fingers are very nicely done. (lol I'm actually quite jealous of your hand drawing abilities. 
Oh and my favorite here is definitely French Iris. XD

Oh, no, I don't mind that you say that everytime you see my art, keep doing so, it makes me happy that you like it. Pshhh, hands, I am such a newbie when it comes to drawing hands. I just look at my own and attempt to reproduce what I see.

Well I haven't actually gotten the chance to do more than a few comic pages and small 1 page comics with the characters, but I draw them for myself everyday (sketches that aren't good enough to be uploaded here) and write at the novella with my friend pretty much everyday. Thanks so much for checking them out and asking about them! I really love talking about them and I'm so happy when people are interested in my original characters, not only fanart
