Awright so this weekend my folks and I drove halfway across the country to meet ~Mesteno face to face and have an epic weekend-long art session. This is only one of the many things she'd drawn for me (you can see some others in her gallery), my characters Avery and Diego, that I colored after I got home. Yes, I have greedily and selfishly abused her mad skills for my own satisfaction, but I drew her a bunch of stuff in exchange too. The things she can do with an inking pen, it makes my heart ache asdfghjklLineart is 's, characters and coloring are mine.

I know it's already been said on Tumblr, but I really like that crosshatching in the background! And I like the sort of subtlety of the whole coloring job-- its bright and cheerful, but it isn't overpowering. Lovely.
