You can animate with photoshop.
It's a lot easier, since you can change the opacity of different layers to create a makeshift sort of lightbox function.

um..........I dunno.
I don't rly use layers. I draw with my mousepad on MSPaint then I do the light and shading effects with photoshop on the same layer as the drawing.

I like the image! It's all prickly around the edges though...? The "transparent" color shouldn't be close to anything within the image, I learned that the hard way when spriting.

I'm guessing i'll probably have a hard time erasing the prickly stuff on the edges.
