Description Well, I decided to take a crack at it. Some influences were easy, some were harder. People who have influenced me in my life could be an entire meme on it's own, so I didn't include them.

So, here we go.

Mickey Mouse
One of the childhood characters who gave me my love of cartoons. While Mickey isn't my favorite of the bunch anymore (That honor would go to Donald Duck.), I gotta give a shout out to his controbutions.

Peanuts
Like Mickey, Charlie Brown and Snoopy are a few of the many controbutions that gave me my unbreakable love in cartoons. In fact, Charlie Brown himself is the first drawing I ever did.

Sonic the Hedgehog
Ah, heres a big one. Back when all I could draw was incompersensible scribbles that vaugely looked like Pikachu, Sonic came along and changed everything. When I was a kid, Sonic was the coolest guy ever, and I was so determined to draw him. First time I did so, it didn't look like him in the slightest. But drawing Sonic was my motivation, my drive. I swore I would draw the perfect Sonic. While I've never achived the perfect Sonic, the Sonic that resulted after years of practice was the first sign of my current art style's development.

Pokemon
Where the hell would I be without Pokemon? Not here, thats for sure. Pokemon is probably the biggest influence I've ever had in my life. Not just artwise, but everythingwise. My love of cartoons and animation was influenced by Pokemon. Some of my most treasured memories were influenced by Pokemon. My current career choices were, among others, influenced by Pokemon. Nearly every single intrest I've ever had can be traced back to Pokemon. Some of my greatest friendships were influenced by Pokemon. My most cherished creation, 'Chu, was, as much as I hate to admit it, influenced by Pokemon. The hundreds of dollars my poor parents had to spend on me were influenced by Pokemon. My imbracing of my nerdiness was influenced by Pokemon. I owe a lot to Pokemon.

Bugs Bunny
Like Mickey, Peanuts and Pokemon, Bugs was another contrbution to my budding love of cartoons. Bugs' more recent influence is his sense of humor. This is a damn funny rabbit, and his sthicks helped mold my current sense of humor. While, like Mickey, Bugs isn't my favorite of the Looney Tunes gang anymore (And I'll probably never stop singing the praises of Marvin the Martian.) Bugs overall has been the bigger influence.

Invader ZIM
Invader ZIM's influences are pretty much the same as Sonic's. I strove to draw the perfect ZIM and the perfect GIR. While, again, I didn't achive this (though with GIR I came pretty damn close.) trying to mimic ZIM's art style did wonders for my own style, which was at the time mended by my ambitions to draw Sonic. Suddenly, I was drawing wackier expressions and spindly looking arms and legs. While you could barely tell today that I had any artistic influence from ZIM, theres still a small trace of it in how I draw arms. Hung in the back, with a two or three pointy fingers sticking out. Classic. ZIM also helped meld my sense of humor into something darker and more sarcastic.

Azumanga Daioh
I had just gone trough my first year of high school in an out of town district, with not a single person I know around, along with antisocial tendicies and a crippling lack of self-worth, I was compeletly miserable for an entire year. Then I read Azumanga Daioh. It was the biggest turnaround ever. I went from sulking and miserable to happy and laughing the first time I read that book. It felt like the whole world had just stopped and all there was was me and that one comic book. It gave me so many influences, the humor, the characters (especally Osaka.), the art, everything about it was amazing. So it was probably one of the few things I have seen that not only influenced me as an artist, but as a person as well.

The Rogues Gallery
By all accounts, TRG should probably have a bigger box. Fireball20xl has been my favorite website for years, and there have been tons of huge influences just from that site alone. Jen Irwin, Psyguy, Ritz, ect. But I think, among these, it was probably TRG and it's creator, Alan Solivan (or Mr. OMA, as he was called back in those days) that were probably the main influence to start making comics. I find it kind of funny how coincidentally, after making crossovers, right when I decide to branch out and make my own thing, so is Mr. Solivan, who, to my enternal glee, watches my gallery and reads my by far inferior comic strips. So he's probably gonna be reading this. Hi Alan!

Haruhi Suzumiya
You'll notice Haruhi has the smallest box. Miss Suzumiya's influence is rather small, but still signficant enough to be mentioned. It was this series (along with Wall-E, of which I'll get into in a minute.) gave me my love of Sci-fi, and only boosted my ever-growing adoration for Time Travel. If 'Chu and Kenny had gone on a little longer, time travel would have played a major part in several of it's stories. And while where on the subject of Haruhi, so would have Yuki Nagato, who was added in for being so fucking awesome!

Pixar
Isn't it every artist's dream to work for Pixar? These guys are the gods of their craft. The big cheeses still at the top of their game even after 25 years. And as such, has given a few key influences. Wall-E helped develop my love of Sci-fi and inspired me to develop my storytelling abilities. Toy Story was, like many of the other influences mentioned before, a major factor in my budding love of cartoons. Pixar, I salute you.

Cartoon Cartoon Fridays
I almost didn't put this in here. But I had to. It was this group of cartoons, some of the greatest to ever hit televison, that made me finally realize what it was I wanted to be. An animator. I wanted so bad to see one of my own characters come out of that big yellow and red "o" in the middle of the word "Cartoons." That dream will never be realized, as Cartoon Cartoon Fridays has long since been taken off the air. While Cartoon Network has been on a sharp deciline as of late, I gotta give a shout out to the greatest collection of Cartoons ever brought together into one timeslot, that made Fridays that much more of something to look foward to.

I know of Wha-Chow. It's on Fireball20xl. I just don't really listen to it because my hearing problem prevents me from actually enjoying it.
