I once sat through Waverly Place with the volume completely turned down and the captions on (this was at Gracies at RIT). It still managed to give me a spiltting headache.

Ugh, yeah, this comic is the reason why I don't bother to watch TV anymore. It's all brain-mushing "entertainment" now.
Especially The Big Bang Theory. My god, they don't even try on that show.

Panel 3: Family Guy. Most padded-out show in television history. Watching Peter Griffin fighting a giant chicken is always a good way to waste 2 minutes of your life.
