Powers/Abilities:
*Mist Mirror
-Polaris lets loose a powerful blast of mist that acts like a mirror screen, leading the target to see an illusion of Polaris elsewhere. It is nearly impossible to tell the real Polaris from the illusion, who is a mirror image of the original. The other method of telling them apart is to hit one of them with a physical attack.

*Prism Hail
-Polaris shoots shards of ice upward and that arc over and land on the target. While the ice itself isn't hard or thick enough to do significant damage, it is painful and good for stunning targets.

*Aurora Spiral
-Polaris charges up a beam and shoots it towards the target, freezing everything in a 12 foot radius of the impact. The longer she lets it charge, the more damage it does and the further the ice effect spreads.

Personality Overview:
Polaris is much like ice; pure, graceful, and beautiful. However, she has a hard time making friends because of her icy demeanor. She's straightforward and blunt with a razor sharp tongue that she's not afraid to use. Once you get past her exterior, she shows a more kind a gentle side of herself.
Because she grew up being constantly told of how important her future duty as a guardian would be, she takes her job very seriously. It's her lively hood. It is what she lives for. This intense focus on her task prevents her from remembering to take time to enjoy the sweet moments of life. Through her fellow senshi, she is slowly learning to balance her duty and relaxation.

Brief History:
Much like her mother and grandmother before her, she is entrusted with the duty of serving as a guardian of guidance and direction. Her job is to help guide new senshi towards their destinations and keep them along the path of justice. Sometimes this involves stopping those going down a darker path by turning them around or if need comes, taking their powers away, via taking the transformation object. She dreads the day that she may have to eliminate a fellow sailor for the greater of good.

1. Please take a moment to introduce yourself to us.

- My name is Alexandra, known also as Sailor Polaris and the Guardian of Guidance.

2. Tell us something that will help us remember you.

-I am born under the 13th sign of the zodiac; Ophiucus
3. Describe your typical day.

-I don't exactly have a set routine. My day varies depending on whether or not I'm currently working with a senshi or pursuing one who's gone astray.

4. What makes you happy and what makes you scared?

-I enjoy watching a sailor go towards their destiny or knowing that I stopped a rogue or turned them back in the right direction. What frightens me...I'd have to say it's being forced to eliminate another.

5. What do you find most challenging about being a senshi?

- It would have to be justifying your actions. Sometimes the right way is full of pain and misery, and it's hard to send someone down that path when you know what it will bring. It doesn't feel good and telling yourself "It was the right thing" doesn't help you feel better.

6. Who is your role model and how do they inspire you?

-I always look up towards the guardians of Polaris that came before me as well as my fellow teammates. They all are striving to right wrongs and protect the innocent. I find it inspiring to know that I'm not the only one out there who has a desire to use my powers for good, as cheesy as that sounds.

7. What would you name your autobiography?

-"The Moral Compass of the Universe"

8. Do you believe in fate/destiny, or do you believe you write your own story?

-Give what I do, it's difficult to choose one or the other. Everyone has a destiny that will come to pass, but what you choose to do will determine how soon or in what manner that destiny will come to pass.

9. Do you have other teammates? What are they like? If not, do you wish you had some?

-I do work with the Zodiac Senshi. They often bring those in need of my help to me so I can send them on their way. I may not go on missions with them often, but they are still my closest friends.

10. What do you hope to accomplish by competing in this pageant?

-I guess I'd like to have a better insight about myself. Learning how other people see you not only helps you see yourself in a new light, but teaches you how to see the different sides of other people as well.

11. Do you have anyone special out there cheering for you? Would you like to give them a shout out?))

-I know the Zodiac Senshi are all cheering me on, as they're partially responsible for convincing me to try in the first place. Thank you guys~

I am the queen of last minute entries. At least, the queen of finishing them at the last minute.
This is a character I've been fleshing out as of late, and per usual, I thought I'd enter her in a contest to get some collective feedback on her as well as making sure I actually do art every now and then XD
