full view pleasssssse.so this... hahahah. i just realized i spent a ton of time making this and it's kind of... weird? it's basically about appreciation i guess.
arnold's pickin up helga for prom. he's all pissed that his amaaaazing girlfriend's family doesn't appreciate her at all so he fucks with the million pictures of olga (and a family portrait that helga apparently didn't make the cut for? hahahah) just to be a bitch lolol.
haha i duno. it seems random now that i'm looking back on it. O WELLZ. it was one of those 3 am write it on my phone before i fall asleep ideas. tehehe THE BEST ONES. i also realized all my picture ideas happen as i'm falling asleep or when i'm in the shower. wooooootae

I hate Helga's parents a lot. I don't hate Olga because it did show a lot that she loved her little sister and Helga did love her enough to protect her from her "fiance" who was a douche and I think wanted to use her. But their parents were terrible.

This is the reason why I hate Helga's parents that much, even my hate to them is totally hardcore than Lila (tbh, I am okay with Lila actually) because Helga's parents are totally playing favor to their children. They pay attention to Olga more than Helga just because Olga is totally perfect. No wonder why Helga dislikes her sister that much, because she got jealous on her due to she got more affection and attention.

I found myself becoming interested in Hey Arnold! fanfiction & fanart & I've always found myself coming back to this picture because it's too funny. I've never really paid too much attention to the show as a kid, other than Arnold being my favorite character, along with Helga.
I never paid any attention to the way Helga was treated in her home. Now that I'm older, I've watched reruns of Hey Arnold! & I honestly feel bad for her. A lot of people say that she shouldn't take her anger out on people & bully them just because she has an unstable life at home. What child in real life would be happy if he/she were living the exact same life as she has? The girl has a mother who's an alcoholic, & can barely remember to wake up every morning.
A father who's a mega workaholic & only manages to remember her name when it's convenient for him. And to make matters worse, he completely ignores her when Olga comes to visit, like she's just..there. Arnold understands her pain, which is evident in the 3rd & final panels. I think Arnold understands Helga because he too knows how it feels to be without parents. He was practically raised by his grandparents, whereas she raised herself.

This is so wonderfully done. I just LOVE her hair and dress. I'm such a girl. Anyway, I thought it was funny for Arnold to mess with the pictures. Also, HEY ARNOLD THE JUNGLE MOVIE IS HERE! It's tomorrow on November 24 on tv. 6pm Central time and 7pm Eastern time I think. Anyway, theres a chance they may make a season 6 Hey Arnold if there is enough people interested in it. So be sure to tune in tomorrow and watch it! Tell your friends too.

I agree. Helga needs someone who is sensitive to her vulnerable side, and Arnold needs someone who will keep him on his toes. They could totally make it work.

Why do you think Olga pisses me off so much? I can relate to Helga. My parents never paid any attention to me. They always glorified my older siblings. I was just there. It's good to see Helga gain some recognition from at least someone, and someone she's head over heals for.

The crazy thing is: as early as the first season, we see that Olga recognizes the anguish Helga suffers from being overshadowed by her by telling her that she pretty much HATES the way their parents dote on her. I never could understand why Olga and Helga never got closer after such an admission.

Te explico! Arnold pasó a buscar a Helga para ir al baile de graduación , y mientras la esperaba vio que en la pared había cuadros de su hermana y sus padres, pero en ninguno de ellos aparecía Helga . Ésto disgusta a Arnold , porque ve cómo sobrevaloran a su hermana y a Helga (su amada e increíble novia ) ni le dan atención . Así es que desacomoda los cuadros, como símbolo de su imperfección y/o carencia de algo (Helga). Este es uno de mis dibujos preferidos , por su simbología
