full view pleasssssse.so this... hahahah. i just realized i spent a ton of time making this and it's kind of... weird? it's basically about appreciation i guess.
arnold's pickin up helga for prom. he's all pissed that his amaaaazing girlfriend's family doesn't appreciate her at all so he fucks with the million pictures of olga (and a family portrait that helga apparently didn't make the cut for? hahahah) just to be a bitch lolol.
haha i duno. it seems random now that i'm looking back on it. O WELLZ. it was one of those 3 am write it on my phone before i fall asleep ideas. tehehe THE BEST ONES. i also realized all my picture ideas happen as i'm falling asleep or when i'm in the shower. wooooootae

This is probably by far my favorite work that you have done, because it truly shows the love Arnold has for Helga since her family doesn't seem to feel that way towards her (at least not too much like they should).
So it starts that Arnold comes to pick Helga up for prom, then sees the pictures on the wall, and is annoyed by the fact that Helga isn't in the family portrait, which shows that still is sometimes ignored and neglected and overshadowed by Olga. So he starts to toy with them and hang them crookedly, and probably he did it because he likes Helga's devious side. Then he sees her coming down the steps and smiles widely when he sees how beautiful she looks. Then he gently puts the corsage on her, and I'm sure as a way of thanking him, she kisses him and does it passionately like she always does. As the happy couple walk to the Packard holding hands, the pictures are left the way Arnold messed with them.
I definitely love the panel where he grins because it shows how much he is in love with her. Then definitely the kiss after he puts on her corsage on. I love moments when they kiss especially. But I said why this is my favorite work, and it goes to show that Helga needs Arnold because he can give her all the love and support that her family has never or seldom given her. If she didn't have Arnold, Helga would be even more messed up and bitter, and end up even more lonely.
But I loved this work from start to finish, and words and character dialogue are not needed at all to explain what happens in it. I love it all, and thank you so much for making it.
