This is insanely epic! The sense of scale with the boots still there is spot on and that scale texture is unreal. Did you utilize a brush for those scales or did you do them by hand?

I could have used a texture brush but I did it by hand. I used a round burn and dodge tool.

Wow, this is amazing! My jaw pretty much dropped when I saw this from the thumbnail and up close it is spectacular. Your past works have been incredible as well and since the start I have been speechless about how detailed and high quality your work is.
