As a veterinarian, congratulations on the portrayal of the set of teeth! In pups, when their permanent teeth surge, the incisors come first, followed by the premolars and molars. The fangs are the last ones to emerge, just as in your painting. Small ouch! fact. It can be pretty painful, since they start at 3 months with 32 small whitish teeth, and end up at 5 months with 42 big chompers. The expression on her face mirrors that on some of my patients.

Thanks for the insight into puppy teeth. I've met young dogs with double fangs before. It looks pretty painful, poor things. I heard in some case they have to get the baby fangs removed. I like to imagine that in werewolves the cursed person's fangs grow inside their skull all month like adult teeth and then they erupt when they transform. I took reference from a bunch of stock photos of wolves yawning. I'm glad to hear I somewhat drew something realistic, as far as supernatural beings go.

Have you ever had braces? I imagine it would feel like that you're getting an adjustment done by a supernatural orthodontist and much more painful.

Except that the body is pretty efficient of defending itself from a Natural Physical occurrence & would provide itself with some handy novacane. Especially if it's Super-Natural where it's uber extraordinary.
