Lyn: And here's the first photo of my Ty Lee cosplay! I love how it turned out; it's so comfy and easy to wear! Haha I've already taken it to three cons so far, and it'll probably be my go-to summer cosplay for a while. This photo was fun to get, too. Lots of spinning around in circles! I quite like how my skirt ended up flaring out like a flower.

Since it's our first photo of the costume, I'll also add some construction notes: The wig is a Spanish Brown color from Arda (I don't remember which one, but it's a short style and a clip-on ponytail) that I styled myself. I drafted the patterns for everything and dyed the middle pink color to be the right shade. For her skirt flaps, she had anywhere from four to six depending on the reference shot I found, so I eventually settled on five because I felt like that made them the right width, and that conveniently left a gap in the back for a pant zipper. The shoes I bought at Goodwill, added straps, and painted.
