Lyn: Big thanks to Chow for this super-cool shot of my warrior Sheik costume! I like how you can see some of the grunge on the hood and the scarf, as well as all the stitching around the tunic. I was totally dying during Fanime in this... it's a full knit long-sleeve shirt and pants, with a suede tunic and boots, leather bracers, and the huge linen tabard/scarf/hood combo, plus the mask. The bracers and boots were fur-lined, too! Wearing these Zelda costumes was lots of fun, but I think I'm only wearing this one again if I'm outdoors in 40-degree weather.Sheik: Lyn

It's just a pity that the sheikahs eye is less well done, but the design of the rest is pretty cool.

Overall, thanks! The eye was a very intentional design choice, though. I hand-painted it with fabric dye, instead of paint, because the crisp lines of fabric paint wouldn't have looked right with the rest of the grungy mountain-warrior design. Up close, it's got a lot of cool bleeding and running effects that I'm really happy with. Sorry it's not to your taste, but please don't assume it was a mistake just because you might have done it differently.

This is such an awesome picture, it looks like it should be on a movie poster. The movement in the scarf is perfect and I love how covered your face is, but you can see your whole eye, it's like someone drew a picture, it's so spot on.
