This is a drawing I did a few summers ago (the summer of POA I believe...when was that...?). This was after my year in Illustration when I learned how to um draw and stuff. My whole goal with this was to do it all with no pencil marks showing. I'm still pretty happy with it, though the scanner makes it look more texture-y than it really is.Anyhoodle, it was a lot of fun and took pretty much the whole summer because my pencil strokes were microscopic. My favorite part is the bottom part of Merry's cloak annnnnd probably on Pippin's sword--the top part of the hilt.
Merry and Pippin belong to Tolkien. Let's all take a moment to mentally thank Tolkien and Peter Jackson shall we?

Yeah, it's a map. I had fun with that although I wish I had thought to do it BEFORE I did everything else...it was a little awkward to do at the end.
