I've been watching a lot of Firefly lately, and a bit of Chuck too (which features Adam Baldwin). And I've always meant to draw more Firefly fanart, but Nathan Fillion's undrawable face has always put me off. Anyway, I've been trying again lately, and these were all done over the past three weeks or so. They got more finished as I went along, as you can surely tell (the order: Mal, Jayne, Inara, River and Simon, and Kaylee), but I like them all pretty well.So what would you call Firefly fanart? Fanfly? Firefan? Fanfireart? It doesn't really work. I thought about Flanart for a little while, but technically "flan" refers to Firefly fans, which is not quite accurate. So, in the end, I just call it "Firefly fanart."
Blah blah blah, FIREFLY ROCKS.

Oooooo, yes yes yes! Serenity! It was made after the show had been cancelled (two years afterwards, I think? I could be totally wrong on that point). At any rate, it came out in late 2005, and it's FANTASTIC. But don't watch it until you've finished the series.

I did not go with Firefart because I am not a boy.
And hopefully there will be more because I haven't drawn the whole crew yet.
