I've been trying to draw Jack Sparrow since the first movie came out and at long last, success! Of course, it was easier doing a profile...I aim for the whole face next time.The shading scanned kind of unevenly, but it's all good. And just in case you're curious, I drew this from a screencap from Dead Man's Chest (my favorite), which you can see here: [link] .

simply wonderful, you really caputred his look as well as his arrogant attitude. I usually dont like things taken from screen grabs but this has something very personal about it that make it stand out from the crowd. I think its the pose chosen that does it. Very Sparrow with his head held high in confidence even when it looks like he may be looseing.

He really is so much fun to draw, with all of the bits and bobs in his hair and, well, everywhere else. And that scene in Tia Dalma's is still one of my favorite parts out of all three movies.
