Your work is so refreshing and bold, and I'm glad darkroom photography hasn't left us. All that stuff must be expensive though!

Thank you for the compliments! It can get rather expensive, this is true. It's my livelihood at the moment, though, so the expense is certainly worth it (a pack of 10 costs nearly £13.) If you were to get your hands on a cheap-o plastic magnifier (like the ones they sell in bookstores), I assume you could do something very similar to this with a digital camera. Are you interested in learning about analogue photography?

It's all right, it wasn't really an offer offer, as such. Hah. I was just going to suggest paying attention to tiganusi and CRPhotography , as well as note that there may be some analogue enthusiast groups (or workshops) near where you live that may offer help and advice. Also Youtube. Youtube and APUG really helped me start. (:
