Description
I felt I had to do this. It's not much, but at least it's something. Terry surrounded by my five (+2) favourite characters from his Discworld novels, and believe me, just choosing five wasn't easy. Can you name all 5 (7) of them? (no looking at the tags)
Rest In Peace, Sir Terry Pratchett.

Assuming all the characters don't have to be associated with one another or the people involved, I'm seeing:
Samuel Vimes
Granny Weatherwax with You...(Which I always wondered: Greebo ate a vampire, this cat ain't got nothin.)
Susan Sto Helit
Professor Rincewind (Who I imagine is probably more than aware Death is right behind him)
Death, and the Death of Rats.
Not a fan of Moist? I must ask.

Like I said, it was not an easy task to chose just five. I, like, love just about ALL character in the Discworld-series; Moist, Colon, Nobby, Angua, Detritus, Cohen, Nanny Ogg, Lu Tze, Ridcully, Stibbons, Om, the Librarian... I could do this all day.
I tried to narrow it down to the five characters that left the strongest impression on me.Β

Ah fair enough. Still, thanks for sharing all that at this time. He was a great author, and I'm still going through a lot of the Disc myself. May he rest well.

Good choices, you did a good job of catching Death's inhuman humanity. :L

Sam Vimes, Granny Weatherwax (and Greebo?Β Who IIRC is Nanny Ogg's cat.), Susan Sto Helit, Rincewind, Death (and the Death of Mice).

Actually, that's not Greebo, it's a kitten given to her by Tiffany Aching. Granny gave it the name "You", as in "You, get down from those shelves!" or "Come inside, You!"
Incidentally, You is also the only thing Greebo fears.

Ah, I've only read the first Tiffany Aching book.Β I was wondering why he had both eyes when the details of the other characters are so spot on.Β I really love your Rincewind, by the way.

Well, as a famous person once said; 'Death is only the beginning'. Let's hope that Terry's in a better place than this crappy world.
