What, like Wrath's here? First, I just use a Micron to make zig-zaggy lines (Tip-- follow the contours of the hair, kinda like I did in Lust's pic to get it to look wavy! ^^ Also, keep in mind where your light source is!)
After I get the lines in there, I fill in the inked-black areas! (Use a bigger pen --or even a small marker-- for this, it'll make it go quicker... ^w^)
After that, fill in the areas that were left white with a pencil, then use an eraser to make some highlights! ^_^

Hehe, it does take some practice! ^^ I did 2 or 3 pics with hair-shading kinda like that before I took a shot at Envy's pic... ^^ (I think one of my first pics like that was where I did Thoth's hair on my DevID )
But that's pretty much all there is to it! ^_^ Just a little bit of practice!

(I should warn ya though-- those Homunculus pics are about 8.5 x 11, and the ones with lots of hair-- Lust, Wrath, Envy-- each took me about a week on their hair alone! TT.TT So ya might wanna do smaller pics if you're just practicing! ^w^;; )

The Elvis song was a nice touch though... Gllutoony and Lust's choices were really nice too! For pride, you should do "Lying from you" by Linkin Park, and from Sloth "Holding My Last Breath" by Evanescence

Thank ya much! I was actually a bit worried about how he was going to turn out-- I had his outline rough-sketched and was thinking, "Oh no, he looks terrible compared to the others! TT.TT This is going to be my worst one yet!! " (I'm really happy with him though! I still like the Envy & Greed ones better, but he's about tied with Lust, in my opinon! ^^)

I can't wait to see them either!! (I have no clue how they'll turn out-- I just have a rough outline of Sloth and only a thumbnail sketch of Pride) I've learned that the sketch isn't a good indicator of how the final pic'll turn out, either! I had Wrath's outline done and thought, "Oh man, this is HORRIBLE!! He won't turn out nearly as well as the others did! *sob*", but I'm really happy with him! ^_^ Yeah, he's not as kakkoi as Envy or as fun as Greed, but I still like how he turned out!

Aww, thank ya! (Trust me... LOTS of practice... *coughLustcough* I'm finally starting to get the hang of it though, now that there's only one character left with black hair, and not much of it at that... Snkk. THAT just figures... XD) THANKIES FOR THE FAVES, TOO!! *uber-glomp*
There's really nothing to it! ^^ Just do some inked zig-zags, ink in part of it at a time, and color what's not inked with a pencil! After that, just take an eraser and erase a few highlights in there! Pretty easy, it's just time-consuming is all... ^w^

Well, the ones I ended up with were mostly comedy/gag ones (although one does have a bit of Roy/Hughes shounen-ai)... They did have some straight-out Yaoi FMA ones, but you know me-- weird sense of humor, so I gotta get the funny ones! XD (Besides, the only pairings they had didn't really interest me... EdxRoy, maybe a HughesxRoy or two, a few of RoyxHavoc *tries not to vomit*...)

I knew you would do well with him, actually it turned out better than I thought. He's psycho looking but still cut and adorable!^^ The scar is that bad, you communicated the idea well with it at least. The eyes are prabably the best out of them, big and bold kind of. The hair is pretty like you did on Envy, I don't know how you make it so beautiful...Don't be ashamed of liking the Backstreet Boys...I wish it was the 90s again...
