Well, she requested it a few months ago, but I'm still trying to get it finished up... It's close though, and it's turning out really well! (Remember that "That Fateful Night" pic took me a few months, so this one's gonna be of a similar calibre as that one! Not nearly as elaborate, but I'm loving how it's going so far! 8D The eyes especially! GOD, the eyes are just.... *melts into a puddle on the carpet*)

S'okay, I am too! (Random devwatcher: "Hey, Lin submitted a new pic! Wonder which Homunculus it is this time...=_=;;")

I hope it does too! *lol* I'm actually putting him to the side for another day or two to work on a bobblehead commission and, believe it, (Gomen ne, Naruto moment) a maquette-type figure of Greed! *w* YAYNESS!! It's gonna be my first shot at semi-realistic sculpting instead of chibis! ^^ After those, I'll get back to work on him!

(And to answer your question, I use a tablet! ^_^ Dad got me one about 3 years ago for Christmas!.....or my B-Day, I can't remember which. )

And you are not! All it takes is practice! I know it sounds kinda cliche, but it's true! I've been using Photoshop forrrrr....about 4 years now, I think! ^^ And I practice with it a few times a week! Just keep at it and you'll be improving in no time!
(Tips-- check out some online CG tutorials --DragonPaint is one of my personal favorites-- and do some pics on occasion that test your limits and force you to try new things in the programs! Those are the best ways to improve in a short length of time! )

Oh yeah! I didn't even do digital art before my tablet 'cuz I hated the mouse so much! X.x;; I was just using colored pencils and doing fancels before then! We also had those trackball/rollerball mouses in my Comp Art class, which nearly drove ALL of us nuts after about 2 weeks... *lol*
Me: Do we have any other kinds of mice here? Like, a regular mouse?
Instructor: Oh yeah! Check that back room there, I think we have tablets too...
Me: ... ._. ...

Absolutely! Her tutorials ROCK!! (Her moonbeams tutorial is actually the way that I learned how to do them, like in that Ed/Greed pic!)
A fun way to practice is to get one of her linearts and color it yourself, trying to make it look like her finished pic-- it's a good way to try out new filters/brushes/layer styles! A great way to challenge yourself! ^_^

Honestly, I was "spoiled" by using a tablet pretty early, so I don't really know how to do ANYTHING with a mouse...I've seen some amazing stuff though, that was done with the things, and I'm really jealous of anyone who can do digital art with them!

Hey, don't feel bad! My art instructors told me that I held my graphite pencils wrong too...>.>;; I still haven't figured THAT one out yet... o.0;;

I can work with a mouse, its just that my hands are so twichy.. I ALWAYS screw up, then it takes me 7X longer to finish a project then if I had a tablet, if you get what I'm saying! ^^ XD I still can't hold a pencil right.. My friends were making fun of me for it too! >_>

YAY! I'm glad I'm not the only one with twitchy hands! (Mine's a genetic condition --thanks a lot, DAD...>.>;;-- where my hands are constantly shaky. Dad says it's a wonder that I can paint cels & figurines like I do... )

You'll have to ask for one for your birthday or something! It's the best thing ever, it makes things so much easier! ^^ I think they're fairly inexpensive now, too...

Hehe, that sucks! I remember sitting in Drawing I, I believe, and the instructor told us one of those "everything you know is wrong" things about how we were all holding the pencils wrong. ._o;;

YESH! Yesh we are! (Oh, I've got that too! XD That's a real condition too, called "Nervous Leg Syndrome", where a person basically can't sit still-- they're always tapping their foot or shaking their leg or whatever! ^^ I'm the same way!)

That's what I did! A Christmas a few years ago, I asked for PS from my mom & stepdad, and a tablet from my dad! X3 *is so evil*

Well, high school isn't as finicky about it, but some college instructors can be pretty rigid... >.>;; Some of them can be real pains-in-the-neck about stuff like that... 9.9;;

I was always a huge Marik fangirl...But when the evil Marik came into the show i was like
