Description
As usual, I got bored in class and started to sketch. Rei came out first, later I decided to add Kaworu, cause they´re both my favorite characters from Neon Genesis Evangelion.I drew Kaworu kind of with an evil expression, with the shadows covering him...But he´s not exactly an evil character. I don´t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn´t read the manga, watched the anime nor the movies...So I won´t explain.
I you haven´t, do it, tho.
Sorry for not uploading more often, but I´m working on some cool stuff.

Dude, totally! Maybe it had something to do with SEELE?...In the movies, tho, Rei has a bit more of "soul", as she actually shows to care about Shinji. Not in the third one. It seems that she´s a different Rei, a new one. But most of the characters have changed in that one. Still, Kaworu is always tricky, and he may be planning to accomplish his mission, but somehow he always sacrifices for the good of Shinji, I don´t know why.

Yeah, I really think that '3.0 Rei' is just a clone of the original Rei in the first 2 movies. She just feels different, y'know? Hell, now I wanna see Eva 4.0, when is that good stuff coming?!

When it comes to the relationship Rei has with Shinji, a lot of people say they are siblings, but I just can't. To me, they're more like distant relatives. In my opinion, Kawrou is more her sibling since they were born the same way & are both Angel-human hybrids. What do you think of this?

Well, Rei is Shinji´s mother´s clone, mutated with the genes of Lilith, and Kaworu is an angel-human hybrid himself, with the genes of Adam. So I don´t believe Rei and Shinji are siblings, they could be related somehow because they share some of Yui Ikari´s genes, but not in a fraternal way. Rei and Kaworu were both born thanks to the Contact Experiments between Adam and Lilith and the Lilin, or humans. But their relation, I can´t really tell. I know Lilith and Adam belong to the same race. But they were both born from different moons/eggs. So I don´t see them as siblings, or I just don´t know. So, even tho Rei and Kaworu share Angel genes, they come from different entities, and I don´t think they´re related more than just being angel-human hybrids.

Thank you for your insight. There are so many different fan pairings that involve Shinji & 1 of the many girls in Evangelion. I just don't like how in most versions of the official stories, He always ends up with Asuka. I'd like to see him with either Rei or Misato.
