Description
Guys, I don't give a damn what people say about Dawn of Justice... I. FUCKING. LOVED. THIS. MOVIE.It is my dream come true. A live action film featuring the supers from the DC universe!
Henry Cavill has convinced me of liking Superman (in Man of Steel, already)
I had faith in Gal Gadot ever since she was first announced as the new Wonder Woman. I love her! I'm obssessed with her beautiful face, and her Wondie was wonderful! And that means a lot! Because Wonder Woman is one of my most favorite superheroes of all time, and I love Lynda Carter!
And finally... Ben Affleck... My dear Ben... I never really considered him an outstanding actor/producer/director... Until Argo. And now, he has become my most favorite Batman of all the cinematic Batmans!
Lex Luthor (Jr.) was so unexpectedly awesome, too!
My only complain is, still, Lois Lane. My brain has imprinted the image of the animated series version of Lois (brunette, ice blue eyes, fierce and perseverant), so Amy Adams, even tho she's a great actress, still cannot convince me that she's Ms. Lane.
The movie is dark, gritty, with the right amount of drama, action... And cameos (there's a particular one that everyone in the theather knew that was going to happen. Except for me, so it totally got me by surprise! I smiled SO HARD!!)
Anyways... I love this movie. I know it has it's flaws, but you guys have no idea of how excited I am for more of DC's cinematic universe... Even more excited than for Marvel!
In fact, I watched Civil War the other day... Nah-uh... I mean, I loved the characters, but the movie overall? Quite the dissapointment.
However, the best "superhero" movie of the year is Deadpool. Obviously.

Made this fanart super quick. My eyes are more tired than usual.

If Ben Affleck had been the batman in the Dark Knight trilogy, he would have been without doubt the most loved by fans. He's already done a great job.
And Henry Cavill IS Superman. I would argue that he does it better than any other. Again, his success is tied to his movies.
But Gal Godot as Wonder Woman? HO-LY cow, she NAILED IT! Wonder Woman was one of my favorite heroes growing up and I can't wait for her own movie!

I agree!
After watching the Suicide Squad movie (in theather, I heard the bluray cut is different), I'm praying for DC to not screw the WW movie... The trailer shows it will be the best, but who knows!

I'm hopeful. It looks fantastic! They even included Etta Candy, which means they're pulling from the golden age comics too!
The quality itself looks fine. My only worry is that they'll take her strong amazing character and use her as a politically-correct "girlz rule, men R pigz" weapon. Tumblr, basically. If they avoid that, I can see Wonder Woman being one of my favorite superhero movies.

Nah, I don't think that will happen... But if it does... Oh boy.

If there's one thing I disliked about BvS, it was Lex Luthor (or Alexander Luthor, as it turned out). Personally, I found him too over the top, and he seemed more like a nuisance than an actual villain in the film. Suffice to say though, Henry Cavill makes for an amazing, human Superman (emphasis on the human and the fact that he does make mistakes, like all of us), Batfleck stole the show for me, and Gal Gadot's Diana. Dear lord I loved her Diana
BUT. I will stand my ground and support Civil War just a little more. Even if it struggles with the same villain problem like BvS (at least in my eyes), the characters are very nicely done and everything feels quite balanced. Black Panther and Spiderman also did a terrific job. (I am in love with T'caka's accent holy shit I did not expect that)

I agree with you in the Civil War matter, althought I still preffer BvS because it took the plot more fluently and interestingly than Captain America, that had like, vengeance and fights all over the place. Ant-Man with the team was so awesome, omg! And that chemistry between Falcon and Bucky was THE BEST! I love Bucky more than ever.
All we know is that we will get some awesome villains very soon. At least that's what I hope.
