Description
Well a lot the people I watch have been doing it and I really think it's a good idea it might come in handy in the future.Hmm this will be a mixed bag I narrowed it down to my top 16. Though I have a lot of influences. These are some of the main. Note this is about my writing and my drawing just in case you get confused
1. Jesus Christ - I don’t care what anyone says I am a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ so don’t judge me about it. Most of my inspiration comes from the Word of God and just what he gives me. I owe a lot to my savior.
2. C.S. Lewis – Everyone has a hero in their life. He’s one of my main. Having come up with the intricate web that is Narnia, a lot of my writing style comes from reading his works. I think in some ways his books were what got me into fantasy and really using my imagination.
3. The Chronicles of Narnia – I grew up with this book series. It was my favorite as a kid and still is. A wholesome fantastic series filled with drama, adventure, fantasy and just so many lessons. I never have gotten tired of the series and I don’t think I ever shall. You can picture the stories as your reading them and it really feels like you’ve travelled to another world. I label this story as very warm and bright it reminds me of the sky.
4. J.R.R. Tolkien – His work is a big influence in my life. Just the fact he created such a complex world and his own languages. Challenges me in my novel I’m writing and keeps me digging deeper. His characters are always well flushed out and fun.
5. The Lord of the Rings – A big adventure that all started with a ring. I read the series and while not my favorite it is my second on because it is incredibly put together. The different people such as hobbits are really fascinating and fun. I’d label this story as a very earthy one.
6. Horses – I’ve loved horses since I was a little girl and figured out what they were. I’ve read so many horse books and I just keep learning about them. They are amazing creatures of beauty and pride. There really isn’t a day where I don’t insert horse in my vocabulary. And now I have a beautiful blue roan appaloosa gelding at home that has a big place in my heart. I can’t wait to see him when I return from college this year.
7. Danny Phantom – You all saw this coming. I love DP. Ever since I saw the first episode. It’s chockfull of all the things that balance out to make an enjoyable story. Danny’s heart and struggles through things are really inspiring. Then I can’t help but like all the characters Butch Hartman and his group created for it. They just all mesh together so well. Regardless of the fact he is a superhero Danny has to face the life of an average teen while struggling with his ghost half and finding balance in the two worlds he is now connected to. Who couldn’t enjoy something like that. An even bigger plus is it’s a clean and fun proving you don’t need junk to make a good show.
8. Books – I could say I’ve read a lot of books and I have. And I can gaurentee the books influence my writing and drawing tremendously. Somewhere or another it’s like a patchwork quilt. And the more I’ve read the more I’ve learned and improved my own writing styles. Plus it’s so much fun just to read stories. I read in basically any genre so long as it is a good story. Save for horror, and those sick type of adult books.
9. Fantasy – Just in general there is so much you can get from it. Fantasy goes into a world of it’s own and you can make it anyway you want. Half the reason I write in it. I have a big imagination that expounds from it. There just are so many creatures that are out there from it and worlds it’s just so great. I love reading this kind of genre the best.
10. Kim Possible – Liked this series since it came out. And could relate in someways to the main character. Crime fighting cheerleader who travels the globe saving the world with partner the clumsy yet hidden talent guy, and his naked molerat. It was a fairly original series and a ton of fun. Lots of humor and just downright unforgettable episodes. Plus villains that actually make sense! Saving the world? No Big. I drew in this style for a while I might do it again sometime but it a fairly complex one. Regardless it’s had a lot of inspiration on my art and writing.
11. Transformers – I’m talking about every Transformer series out there not just the movie. Robots the transform into a disguise of vehichile that drew me in. But what kept me hooked was the character depth and emotion that was given the the characters. The complex backstories showed just how much work was done and I’m one who loves that kind of thing.
12. Studio Gibli - They make some of the most stunning movies with so much heart and so much fun. My favorite will always be Howl's Moving Castle but I also like some of others (Castle in the Sky, Ponyo... to name a few). They bring you into a world of vibrant colors, strange creatures, unique plotlines, and heart much heart I just love their work.
13. Avatar the Last Airbender - A phenomenal show with amazing development in all the characters it reminds me more of a book then a cartoon. It's just a stunning work I won't agree with everything in it but I must say it has a special place in my heart and really has helped me with character development and thinking outside the box with how to create a different world. They are also some of the best fore-shadowers I've ever seen!
14. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles – This manga went through many twists and turns and you never really quite understand it till you get done with it. Which makes it great. Exploring worlds while looking for feathers containing lost pieces of Sakura’s memories just a great plot all together. With the many adventures and you couldn’t help but find Mokona adorable.
15. Superheroes – I enjoy superheroes of many kinds. I just love their stories especially the human part of it all and how they have to deal with not being normal. Plus if the villains are well fleshed out they can be really enjoyable. My favorite of all time is Batman, followed by Spiderman, and somewhere along the line Superman. Just great stories I enjoy most superhero comics and movies. The action and drama just makes them really an inspiration.
16. Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron – I started really drawing fanart after seeing this movie. Though I don’t plan to put it up because it’s not the best looking. I loved this movie because it was about a horse. And just the story the heart the emotion and the depth makes it so good.
17. Card Captor Sakura – Such a cute wholesome manga with it’s own brand of fantasy and problems for our Card Captor. It’s just a lot of fun next to Tsubasa it has to be one of my favorites.

A work of heart. I knew everything except Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. My son made a Howl's Moving Castle fan out of me.
So this is what makes Linariel tick. Good to know.

Yeah this is some of what makes me tick but there are other things that I forgot to mention these are just some of the main. Honestly I've dabbled in a lot of different stories. Just give me a well thought out series with unforgettable characters, adventure, heart and fun and I'm pretty sure to look unless it's really weird or sick and wrong.
