Description
This is a very random comic page without any actual story or without being canon, featuring Riku (the anthromorphic dragonish critter) and LS (the big one) roaming some unknown cave or building.The dialogue was inspired by the free flash game "Coma"
Basically LS is Riku's guardian, and her intentions are far from harming her, even though she seems very sinister in these panels.
Guardians may not like to lie to their owners, as they would technically in a way or another lie to themselves, but sometimes lies are nessecairy to prevent a much greater evil.
Anyway, I wanted to make a test page and see how well I can manage any sort of character interaction and paneling and all these things which are the key to doing comics.
I must admit, I still really like the outcome!

Oooooh, this page ._.
I would absolutely love it if this was actually part of a story. I can just imagine this sort of plot leading up to this moment and then this very page happening. Ooooooh something like that would just give me shivers!
In this state, I have to admit I am just SO curious about what the plot would be, what it could have been that led up to this very moment. It leaves me wondering what evil LS is trying to prevent and more so, what she is grinning about. I'm not complaining, not at all! I am just saying how this leaves so much to the imagination and that, I have to say is just wonderful!
But, from the description and from the way this was drawn, I can tell that you have a small story behind this, a little idea that results in this turn of events...
But I can't just sit here and make assumptions all night :U
In all seriousness, I do reeeeaally like this look on LS quite a bit. I recall you said in your last reply to me that you were drawing LS bulkier and if this is what you had in mind then I have to say, it's a nice change indeed! I'm always a fan of the more thickly built characters and races (northern sergals <3). And that mane is just wonderfully nice to look at!
I also quite like the effect of LS' halo being the biggest source of light in these pictures, gives a nice focus point.
p.s. I find the little 8D in Riku's speech bubble really cute for some reason

Unfortunatelly since Riku and Co. are sort of personas i.e. self representations they do all not have a lot of story on them. I think 22 is the only character who has an alternative, actual sort of story. Otherwise they just excist and are around. There isn't even any story elemtn on how DL and WS came to excist or how they all met, they just started to be around when I made them up sometimes.
I'm sorry if this is disappointing
I think the basic idea for this comic page was something along the lines of LS leading Riku away from a malicious person/being by telling her she was going to show her a really cool place or something, and LS lead her down into the cave or wherever they are, only to tell her that it was nothing but a lie.
I guess LS is a very honest and 'pure' being, but being born from Riku, she can have her malicious moments (otherwise there would be no room or use for DL and WS)
Yes, this one is one of her more commong forms, originally when I made her up she was bulkier, over time I did draw her more slender so she would look more elegant, but I still really like her bulky looks, because she looks more like an actual guardian who's able to protect in this form.

oh no, I don't find it disappointing at all! I was not saying that I expect your characters to have some big, monumental, full fledged story behind them. Often when when I think about my characters, I think about interactions in little excerpts that have little to do with each other, but are still fun to think about. I was just saying that this picture kind of made me think of those little fantasies, and as I can see, I was right!

Some have, but I fear that most of my personas don't really have any indepth story, mostly because they're tied to myself and what I go through in daily life, it almost feels alienating to work out any stories for them and seperate them from myself (though this is actually what I'd like to do with them...)
It's always cool to hear if people get ideas for scenes and possible storylines when seeing a picture
