A redo of a Thorin portrait that I did back in 2013. see Meme here :lindenlin.deviantart.com/art/D…It's not a speedpaint this time, so I actually took the time to get the colors and details right. I'm rather happy with the result, even if there are some minor mistakes (I'm just gonna leave it).

Yeah, you could say that again. Although, I really feel like the movie ramped up a lot of things in order to make it fit better with Lord of the Rings movies. The book is certainly much less descriptive of the battle sceens, and some of the characters are more like caricatures.
