Description
E X T E N D E D D U N
nDex / DexDex
Only found on the Lindeza
(the idea, some other breeds can have stripe-like patterns)
Is also though to come from the big presence of the Dun gene in the Pega donkey.
A few Lindezas that were both tested dominant dun produced this marking, this is why we named it Extended dun.
It usually starts where a normal dun would start (shoulders, face, knees) and would spread more.
It can cover up to two parts of the body (Front legs + back legs for example)
And its minimal expression would be few more stripes on the shoulder or lots of stripes on the knees.
Breeding two dominant duns would have 10% chances to produce an heterozygous extended dun.
