Description
Ranma 1/2 is an amazing source of poses and I've found myself going back to it whenever I want to practice structure. The first half was done back in February and the second one is from these past few days. You'll be seeing more of these two, that's for sure c:

These look amazing! <3 I definitely recognize most of the poses (I just started watching Ranma 1/2 for the first time last week, so it's quite fresh in my head). xD
I just stumbled on your gallery this week but I already love so many peices you've posted. I can't really describe it well, but I really love your drawing style.

Aw, thank you!
And that's awesome! It's never too late to watch some classics haha I hope you like it c: (but I have to say the anime really doesn't make the manga justice).
That really means a lot to me! Thank you!

It's my pleasure!
Very true xD I quite love it (I'm flying through the anime). I also really love that it's simply two tsunaderes rather than the usual tropes. No matter how many love "rivals" pop up we know that Ranma and Akane only have feelings for each other (thus ignoring the angsty pitfalls of so many shoujos and romcoms I still love anyway).
No worries. I feel the same about most anime and use them more so as a way to get introduced to the characters/setting/etc.; then I follow up with the original source. More frequent than not, I end up enjoying the original source 1,000x more. It probably sounds weird, but I really like having the voices to associate with the characters when I read a manga/light novel (especially if the series has a dub).

YES! That's exactly it! Two tsunderes... I never thought about it haha But yeah, their chemistry is so fun to watch and I'm sure you'll enjoy the manga SO so much more.
As for the voice acting, you're absolutely right! Which version are you watching? The original or a dub?

I know right!! xD I can't actually take credit for that observation since it actually came from a review I read for the series before starting it. The chemistry between them is really what draws me in honestly. I'm all for episodic series but there has to be something weaved throughout to keep me interested long-term. Of course, the series always has their romantic (or nearly there) moments interrupted at the last minute, but their true feelings are still visible to us (the viewers).
I've flown through so fast I only have 58 episodes left (I typically watch 6-8 each evening) right now, so I'll be starting the manga soon.
I'm watching the Viz Media English dub. I watch a lot of subbed series too, but I definitely like hearing my own language best; plus I'm familiar with a good percentage of US voice actors between anime dubs, video games, and local tv shows/movies.
The only hard part with the Ranma 1/2 dub is that the voice actor for Ranma changed halfway through the series. The original voice actress does such an amazing job that I had no idea it wasn't a male voice actor for Ranma until I looked it up. xD The voice actor who took over starting with season 4 (Richard Ian Cox) does an excellent job as well and tries to imitate a similar voice, but he still has a deeper voice in the end. (Funny enough, Richard Ian Cox is also the English dub voice actor for Inuyasha, which I watched quite a ways back. Since Inuyasha and Ranma are so similar in personality it's easy to go with it.)
It was weird the first couple episodes with the new voice, but I can re-watch episodes with either voice actor now and I don't have a problem with it; I just make up the headcannon that Ranma's voice simply dropped an octave later in high school during the course of the series. xD

That was fast! You must be done by now XD
I hope you knew beforehand that the anime doesn't reach the end of the manga, but the OVAs do cover some arcs, just not the final battle and end.
I know what you mean! I've watched a couple of episodes in English and found out thanks to the comment section. Great work there!
I grew up with the Latin Spanish dub and we were pretty lucky not to have major voice changes during the series. From the main characters only Ryoga and Nabiki had 3 and 2 voice actors respectively.

Not quite, but I'm not far from the end. I've actually re-watched a good third or so of the series already; I just love the series and characters! xD
Oh yes, I assumed so. Because of that is why I make it a habit to read the manga for a series afterwards; that way I get the canon story in my head last (and find out the ending, if it's a completed series).
Definitely! The OVAs and movies are on my list next. c:
That's pretty good actually. I don't come across very many series with voice actors changing, but the longer series are definitely most susceptible. It's always weird when you hit an episode right after the changes though; you know something about the voice is off, but it just doesn't click immediately (unless it's a drastically different voice). I usually end up reading the credits (if translated to English) and/or look up on Google to see if it's a different voice actor. I also like to see what other characters they've voiced too to see if I only recognize the voice from another series.
