Description Walking along the beach , I found this creature in the water . I think it belongs to the Annelidas , a type of bristle worm , but I'm not sure wich one , yet . At first I thought it was dead , so I picked it up out of the water . But after a few pictures , it started moving . So I had to put it back where I found it .

Funky looking thing , I think that might be his scary face , or it's gasping for air    I did put it back ....

I know    , I just felt a litle stupid and guilty for having interrupted the litle guy , taking it out of the water . I realy thought it was already dead  . Did you hear they found some kind of living creature that eats plastic ? Several actually , an enzyme , a beetle called , Darkling beetle and a type of wax-moth larvae . Someone is going to eat our problems    Sounds a litle too good to be true ?

Thank You ! Very cool link    I watched several clips . They seemed a lot bigger than the one I found , but creatures of the sea are very often smaller here in the southern part of Norway

I think they're completely different species. Also, in which sea was yours?

I think it might be a Nereis pelagica , a Ragworm . I found it here in Norway , in the Skagerrak . This is the name of the strait between the southeast coast of Norway , the southwest coast of Sweden and the north coast of Denmark . Skagerrak connects the North Sea with the Kattegat sea area , wich leads to the Baltic Sea . The Skagerrak has a very low salinity , close to brackish water .

I don't know what species it is - I didn't hear much about polychaetes.
