Indeed, the main reason I think he’s dead is because he has no real identity and therefore expendable, he’s like a red shirt, he comes along with the main characters only to die to prove that the situation is serious, and while I agree that he may well be alive as many other characters have survived far worse than this (such as the MAC Canon to the face) in the end it doesn’t really matter to the overall story that he is alive or dead as the focus is on the other Freelancer agents who have already been established, if he’s alive that good, if he’s dead then get that garbage pail.

True, true. I hope he survives and actually gets to do something. Otherwise it will be a case of "What the hell heroes?" for the Freelancers, who don't seem at ALL worried about him. Not even Wyoming, who is his partner from the look of things. Although it IS Wyoming.

I was pissed with what happened to the Insurrectionist sniper...he was actually smart enough NOT to get them killed with gunfire and told everyone not to shoot, but one idiot didn't follow orders and screwed him over. I think it's the first time in the series someone hasn't died due to an issue on their part (being stupid, being a worse fighter than opponent, etc)...

Hopefully the other Insurrectionists get a little more personality. Right now only the female one and the one known as Demo Man (robot arm) have personalities and those personalities are strictly being pissed at the main cast.

Very true, Donut took a grenade to the face and had a spaceship land on him, but it only took one bullet to kill him off (I've really hoping they still go with him just being in armour lock and nobody has bothered to check on him), North got mowed down with a gatling gun in the last season and he was able to get right back up again like it was only an inconvenience, it’s very hazy on what can actually kill people in RVB so it’s possible he’s still alive, if he is I’ll make a follow up to this.

well..donut IT'S actually alive, it was reveal that he was on recovery mode at the end of chapter 13 in revelation. (By the way you have to be a sponsor in the RT site to see that scene)

I did see that scene as well, but it was also cut from the DVD and not even there as a bonus so the fate of Donut could still go either way, like I said I do hope that they still go with that he was in recovery mode (Donut is the whole reason I started watching RVB), but until he shows up I'm not going to get my hopes up, as with the Blue ODST, it’s possible that he alive but until he gets up and says something like "Hello, I'm still alive, but I'm very, badly hurt" it very likely he’s dead.
