I CAN LOG IN AGAIN FROM HOME -- HOORAY!!

I spoke to the HelpDesk and they had this to say

"Hi, I've checked our records and for some unknown reason you keep sending us invalid session cookies which is resulting in your inability to login. When someone trying to sign into an account provides us with too many invalid session cookies this can result in a temporary block from being able to sign in. This temporary block prohibits you from signing into the account that is sending out the invalid session cookies from any device that is on the same connection as the device you were using to login that caused the invalid session cookies.

In order to help alleviate your situation you will need to figure out why you are sending invalid session cookies. The most common source of this problem is by using bots, extensions, or userscripts such as unofficial deviantART extensions so if you are using either one of these please let us know.

Another common source is using bulk image downloaders.
Other probable causes can be your browser failing to accept cookie changes/deletions
or possibly being behind a caching proxy that is messing up your cookie information

I have not received another response from them but it looks like I won't be able to log in to this account from my house for another 3 - 5 days.

I am able to update this journal thanks to TeamViewer and the help of my Brother

I read this journal which helped me to understand a few things
Login Trouble... What?Apparently I wasn't able to log in to DeviantART for a while. I asked the Helpdesk for help about it and end up in the same situation as the deviant in this journal. So it seems that the solution for me was to wait for at least 3 days....I'm not sure what is the cause of the 'invalid session cookies'... I'll have to research more on that.I've followed Directions and I was unable to Login.. Tried resetting the password (More than once) Tried clearing the cookies Tried using a different browser Turned off the Firewall/Antivirus Attempted to login to a different computer Used the correct username, password, and email for password-resets Che...

I tried this technique:
Remove cookie history, reset password, log in with email and new password
But it did not work sadly. So I'll have to wait.

Hey guys, so in the last few hours I have had trouble logging into this main account. I tried re-typing my password about 5 times and even resulted to changing my password 3 times, and none of the log in's succeeded. I was worried that someone hacked my account so I quickly tried logging into my adoptable account and it worked the first time, I then went to my main account's profile page and everything seemed normal.

I then decided to go to Hackerspace (a place in which people with an interest in computing or technology can gather to work on projects while sharing ideas, equipment, and knowledge) here in Brisbane Australia and logged into my deviantart account and it worked the first time. Very odd.

I have a suspision that it is related to my DNS server, however it is set to a manual number so it shouldn't be affected.

Have any of you experienced this issue and if so is there a way I can fix it?

It's currently 9:36pm and I'll be staying here to about 5am, being on Deviantart and working on commissions.
(I just love you guys so much)

I'll be coming to Hackerspace everyday if I'm not able to fix the issue but that means I might not be on for as much as I am nowadays so please make sure you know that.

I CAN LOG IN AGAIN FROM HOME -- HOORAY!!

I spoke to the HelpDesk and they had this to say

"Hi, I've checked our records and for some unknown reason you keep sending us invalid session cookies which is resulting in your inability to login. When someone trying to sign into an account provides us with too many invalid session cookies this can result in a temporary block from being able to sign in. This temporary block prohibits you from signing into the account that is sending out the invalid session cookies from any device that is on the same connection as the device you were using to login that caused the invalid session cookies.

In order to help alleviate your situation you will need to figure out why you are sending invalid session cookies. The most common source of this problem is by using bots, extensions, or userscripts such as unofficial deviantART extensions so if you are using either one of these please let us know.

Another common source is using bulk image downloaders.
Other probable causes can be your browser failing to accept cookie changes/deletions
or possibly being behind a caching proxy that is messing up your cookie information

I have not received another response from them but it looks like I won't be able to log in to this account from my house for another 3 - 5 days.

I am able to update this journal thanks to TeamViewer and the help of my Brother

I read this journal which helped me to understand a few things
Login Trouble... What?Apparently I wasn't able to log in to DeviantART for a while. I asked the Helpdesk for help about it and end up in the same situation as the deviant in this journal. So it seems that the solution for me was to wait for at least 3 days....I'm not sure what is the cause of the 'invalid session cookies'... I'll have to research more on that.I've followed Directions and I was unable to Login.. Tried resetting the password (More than once) Tried clearing the cookies Tried using a different browser Turned off the Firewall/Antivirus Attempted to login to a different computer Used the correct username, password, and email for password-resets Che...

I tried this technique:
Remove cookie history, reset password, log in with email and new password
But it did not work sadly. So I'll have to wait.

Because I have to wait for a few days, i might not be able to come on as much. I might be able to go to Hackerspace which I mentioned below but I cannot go their all the time. Please if you have anything urgent you need to tell me, note me/comment to me here:

I'll still be able to work on Commissions/Requests/Trades but they probably won't be uploaded unless I'm at hackerspace or in 3 days.

Hey guys, so in the last few hours I have had trouble logging into this main account. I tried re-typing my password about 5 times and even resulted to changing my password 3 times, and none of the log in's succeeded. I was worried that someone hacked my account so I quickly tried logging into my adoptable account and it worked the first time, I then went to my main account's profile page and everything seemed normal.

I then decided to go to Hackerspace (a place in which people with an interest in computing or technology can gather to work on projects while sharing ideas, equipment, and knowledge) here in Brisbane Australia and logged into my deviantart account and it worked the first time. Very odd.

I have a suspision that it is related to my DNS server, however it is set to a manual number so it shouldn't be affected.

Have any of you experienced this issue and if so is there a way I can fix it?

It's currently 9:36pm and I'll be staying here to about 5am, being on Deviantart and working on commissions.
(I just love you guys so much)

I'll be coming to Hackerspace everyday if I'm not able to fix the issue but that means I might not be on for as much as I am nowadays so please make sure you know that.
