Description
"I knew this day was coming... it was just a matter of time"A small animation I made to commemorate the final Splatfest, Frame by frame animation made in Flipnote Studio 3D.
One thing that I liked about making it as a flipnote is the fact that it looks like an animated miiverse post, I bet some Splatoon fans will appreciate that.

They're both too young to be best waifu, but I guess it's more fun than the current presidential race.

I have no idea what age they are. Sometimes people depict them as grown ups, other times chibi, I dunno.
It would seem that they are a little older than the rest of the squids because they had part-time jobs, and a struggle to get to Idol status. Marie talks like a 20 year old that has been trough a lot, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're adults XD
There's not a way to compare how an adult squids looks as far as I know. Except for the Grampa Squid.

It is a bit of ambiguous age, and we never do see them next to a normal inkling youth.
Probably. Callie's at least old enough to drive (or attempt to) so it is hard to say. Marie is pretty dour, though. It makes me wonder what she's been up to, but at least she's the responsible one of the two of them.
Regardless, they're fun characters. It'd be nice if they ever got to be opponents in a challenge mode. Marie seems to favor chargers, while Callie likes rollers.
