Description
Paper Mario: The thousand-year door was my first Paper Mario game, and apparently the last one of its kind. I have very fond memories of it, and considering how much I loved and played this game, it's a shame that I haven't made more fan art of it.
I always wanted to do an artwork with Vivian. After being a bit disappointed with the Paper Mario Color Splash trailer, I thought It was a good time to make it.

como ya te dije no se an puesto a pensar un segundo que pudo ser un simple insulto ya que vivian es la mas bonita de las 3 hermanas por eso la insultan y denigran y ya que Estados Unidos lo censuró tuvo revuelo eso que vivían es hombre birdo eso sí lo acepto que es mujer ya que en Japón Nintendo confirmó que birdo es hombre

That game is far to simple in its mechanics and story elements to be considered an RPG, let alone a Paper Mario game. We'll wait and see when the games comes out, but still there were too many warning signs since the first reveal trailer, I don't have a single expectation from it.

It's from Paper Mario for the Nintendo Gamecube. Since there hasn't been a digital release for this game in a newer console, i'm not surprise that most people don't even remember her

Love it . I played Paper Mario (TTYD) accidentally in 2010, but damn it was one of the best accident I ever had in my life.

Well, a shop in my town had that special sell out buy one Gamecube for 70€, don't know how much dollar that is, and win 2 games.
I always wanted a Gamecube, even thought I had a Wii, because I didn't know that you could play Gamecube games on the Wii.
Back to the Story, I bought the Gamecube and to win the other two games I had to spin the wheel two times and answer a question with a timelimit of 15 seconds, to much time if you ask me. And that was the two question you ask yourself , well the first one was about football that much I now , but the second one got me good. ,,Which poratabel consol was the first to has a Kingdom Hearts game?''. I didn't know that Kingdom Hearts was , and I saw that grin from him. As if he know that I didn't know that anwser. But I thank my parenst after that and sung at home hallelujah , I know the answer at last ,,Gameboy'' . Now I could take two games of a certin box . Windwaker and Luigi's Mansion. And then it happend . A littel kid screamed all over the place, because of that certin game Windwaker and I did the only right thing. (Sarcastic yeeeaaahhh). After that one of the employees saw that and given me one game for free, but in secret. Guess that game that was. But I judged it becaus of this cover, so it didn't interrest me at all. Then one day my brother played it, in secret because he was not allowed to touch my Gamecube, and forgot to put the disc out. And I thought at first, god not again, but I was just to lazy to get up and change the disc, because I came from Karate. And oh my god, never had change I mind so fast about something. And that's all folks.
I'm sorry I think I wrote to much. It's just that, I don't know how I shoulde explain it, got exited to answer this question.

So the kid made a scene and he gets a game, you get another one. Then you played it because it was already on the console. But I guess you played Mario games before, did you?

Well, I judged it because of the cover. I know it's stupid to judge somthing because of it, but I thougth Mario made out of paper and they call him Paper Mario. I thought Nintendo was at this point that they but Mario in a game and it woulde be a great game. But boy I learned my leason. Never judge someone/something of his cover. About the game itself, it has surprised me that it was a RPG, my second RPG I ever played. It was great, the characters, the story and the music. The art was something new, but not in a bad way. It was something to remeber, because this game could be so colureful and (glommy?) at the same time. Had a few problems at the beginging with the combat system, but that is normal for a RPG beginner.
What was your biggest impression on the game?
And yes I did played Mario games befor. My first game was Super Mario World, for the Gameboy.

The whole game was a fantastic experience for me. It was my second Mario RPG game (The first one was Super Mario RPG for SNES) so I was expecting something good from it.
I like the game aesthetics, the fact that the buildings disarmed as they were made out of paper boxes, the style, the music, the combat system, the characters, the scenarios, the badges, the paper mechanics on Mario like the paper plane, or the flat Mario, everything was so good and so fitting with the theme. I felt like I was playing inside a pop-up book :link
I got to play it when I was on vacations from school, so it was just me and the game until I was done with it, so many great memories. I'm gonna play it again someday, but I was waiting to forget about the details in it, so I could play it almost like the first time
The first Mario I played was SMB 3, but I only played one stage that time

Yeah, that game was great. And I hope to see more of it in the future, but the last game and the upcoming game. Hope Nintendo will get it better in the future.
Funny that you mention Super Mario RPG, because I'm playing it resantly and it's great. I'm not through with it yet, but it is a great RPG. That Square Enix and Nintendo made a RPG together was a good idea, and now I got that image in my head with other Nintendo characters that also have RPG elements in it. (Hopefully that sentence makes sense).
The first game that brought me to an Mario RPG was the Mario&Luigi line, more specifically Partners in Time. (I always called it partners in crime, because it sounds cooler and funny) I didn't played that game for a long time.

Mabey a stupid question, but if Paper Mario were in Smash Bros, hopefully what will happen in 5, which charater would you like to see the most, as an asisstent trophy.
My favorites would be the WWE champion of Glitz Pit. And his name is John... I mean Rawk Hawk (coudn't help myself) or the magnificent green thunder Mr.L its identity is unknown to this day. Or are you not interested in Smash at all.

Paper Mario would be a great addition, and maybe some of his moves could be based on the partners he had in the past. They already added a stage based on it, So they're playing with the idea.

I agree, Paper Mario wold be an awesome charater in smash. Besides we alredy have Mr. Game and Watch. But I can't think off that he could have some moves based from his partners. How would that work?
Okay, let me ask you a question. Can you tell me 3 other characters that should be in smash, but here is the thing:
1. Should be a reasonable character
2. A mabey character
And the 3. should be a out of place character, like Cloud or even further
A friend resently ask me that question and it's a good a I give him that.
Well in my list are
1. The lovely Shantae
2. The underdog Rayman
and 3. (that was hard) The Ace Attornaty Phoenix Whright

Crash Bandicoot would be awesome and unexpected to have.
And despite I've never played a Halo game, I think Master chief would be a nice addition. Having 3 rival companies in a game like smash would be mind-blowing and it would make the game reach a new level in possibilities.
I want more Namco Characters. From the series "Tales of" "Tekken" "Soul Calibur"
Cloud made me realize there isn't a particular reason to not have an unreasonable character around, So possibilities are endless for smash in the future, as long as Nintendo is willing to compromise. It also depends on which companies are willing to work with Nintendo in the next gen, because I would love to have more CAPCOM characters in smash.

I bought my copy back in 2006 I believe, I bought an used copy of Paper Mario 64 years later.
I guess I forgot that is not that easy to get a copy of it as it used to be, it really needs to come to the virtual console so people can play it

Since they changed that plot for the american version, it doesn't seem to be a general consent, I would settle in androgynous.
But, the artwork is not sexualized, it's just cute, So the gender it's not that important.
