Description
Despite being a quartz, the Aventurine had another purpose during the war between Homeworld and the Rebels.
Due to the epidemic of strained War Gems, Homeworld's warriors were literally cracking under the pressure of battle. Under the White Diamond's supervision, a new experiment was already in the midst of development. Green Aventurines were designed for therapy purposes; the white parts of their mass filter their geokinetic abilities, which, upon touch, can soothe any gem of any rank. Aventurines will relieve the stress and temperamental behaviors of all of the War Gems, so they can fight efficiently and destroy the pesky Rebels.

This is some information on my headcanon of how Aventurines fit in society. They're basically safety blankets and their skin is pretty much used like aspirin.
The Avens with more white marks are considered the most powerful, since their abilities/energy will flow more like a faucet. These Avens are deemed high in value and are 'blessed', however, physically wise they are MUCH weaker and their summoned weapons are significantly smaller. When their therapeutically abilities are in use, they are gradually drained of energy. Some just drain faster than others and the ones with more marks are definitely the ones who feel fatigue first, for, they are constantly in use. In my picture, there is a higher ranked Aventurine who was considered Alpha for being born with more markings. In my observations, the leader of ranked gems generally have shades.(Like that one Ruby and Peridot)

The Aventurines were assigned different bases or camps during the Rebellion war. The camps were nearly all ambushed toward the end; some were shattered, some escaped, and some disappeared entirely. (Like my Aventurine)
