Description
Out of season, but I thought it would be funnylol
8-bit is actually a LOT harder to draw in than I thought!
I actually made most of this on Microsoft Excel if you can believe it! (That is until I got EXTREMELY tired of trying to recolor each individual cell and then I transferred it to a paint document!)
This is for a contest for

Lol, it appears that Ganon is ice skating. Right? LOL.
Question! How did you do this on Excel? That's really weird. But you must have mad skillz.

Haha- yeah... he is
Working with Excel was both good and bad (which is why I switched to a paint doc.)
I basically turned the whole Excel spread into a giant grid sheet and "painted" by filling the cells with their own background color individually. It really helped with making all of the 8-bit figures pretty well, but anytime that I felt like I wanted to move a character or an object over I had to refill all of the blank cells again! (Luckily I could mass-paste the pre-colored ones so I didn't have to redo all of the figures.)
Needless to say - this got VERY OLD VERY FAST!!! It became very frustrating and about 3/4 of the way through I switched over to a paint doc which made the whole thing MUCH easier! lol
