With Hyrule Warriors less than two days away for us in the USA (and I have it pre-ordered! ), I felt it appropriate to honor the occasion with a pic of Link (even if it's my fanfic version of Link)! He's shown here with the Master Sword, and showing off some of it's power. Robin says his staff is the best fighting instrument on the planet? The Master Sword would like a word with him. lol!

Those of you who took a close look at the posters in my previously posted pic, "Girl's Night Out - Titan Legends Style" may notice that this Link and the image of one of the Link's on one of the posters is the same image (just cropped to show only his face). The one in that pic was incomplete (although to be fair, this one still looks a little off; especially the legs), and it was also accompanied by two images of Link's 'demonic form', a version of him that has been seen (kinda) in my fanfiction twice now. I may be experiencing writer's block with my story right now, but I can assure you, it is not the last time that Link will end up taking that form. In fact, it'll begin to happen more frequently, with the effects getting worse each time. If you look closely, you can see Link's curse-mark showing on his left shoulder. While the curse is not in effect, it is only slightly darker than his own skin, but when Link 'loses it', it turns pitch black and extends vein-like structures all over his body! And in more severe cases, tentacles sprout out of his back (a bit of a homage to Majora, whose power is the source of his curse).

And yet even with all of the evil power of that curse flowing within him, the Master Sword still recognizes him as worthy of wielding it. Hmmm... why is that? Is it just cause of who he is? Well, he isn't able to hold it while in his demonic form, that's for sure. It's one of the reasons he wears that spirit gem around his neck; it helps to keep the curse back (well, that, and the love of his friend Starfire :3).

I think it's kinda obvious, but the background of this pic isn't mine. It is a screencap from Teen Titans and belongs to the original artist (though I did alter it slightly).
