Zelda chose a shield rather than a heart or a gem. I was still too young to understand why, but her decision would go on to influence the rest of my lifeThe Minish Cap is one of my favorite Zelda games and it was also the first Zelda game I had the chance to play (at walmart lol). I think if I was old enough to read what the text was saying I would've understood better why zelda chose the shield, but I had no clue what was going on and I thought it was nice of the princess to give her friend a shield rather than take the shiny rock or the heart lol
