So here it is, the first of the custom Gamera Series sprites that I made. Truth be told, this one motivated me to do the set. I gotta say guys, this right here is one of the reasons I enjoy Spriting so much. The way I made this Jiger sprite is obvious...yet no one else thought to do it. It REALLY makes me feel good.

I gotta say, Jiger is a pretty interesting beast. Considering she lays up Gamera twice, she was probably the monster that came closest to killing him in the original series. She has the ability to reproduce like some insects, using the stinger on her tail to deposit an egg inside her victim, allowing the offspring to eat their way out. Really gruesome for a kid's movie right?

Jiger belongs to Daiei studios.
