Okay so about last night; Yesterday was the only day I had off this week and how did I choose to spend it? I went clothes shopping with my sister. We were supposed to start at 11, she didn't come to pick me up till 12:30. I wanted it to only last ONE hour, by the first time I checked my phone, it was past 2:30. AND then, it still wasn't over because I decided to treat us both to lunch at Red Lobster. I didn't get back to my Apartment till 4; but it's still not over.
I had to go pick-up my piece of junk bike from the Bike-shop, at which point, I decided to donate the bike to the shop for parts, and go ahead with buying a new one. And then when I got in, I decided rather than put it off till later, I might as well take one of my online tests; it WAS an exam by the way.

So after all of that, it was around 7 oclock when I realized...It's the last day of G-Month, and I didn't do anything the day before. I was planning to do so much more with Gamera Month but...y'know what I realized? November is the absolute WORST month in the entire year - not just for me, but overall in general. But for me personally, College is an awful ride; if everything over the entire semester seemed demanding and cumbersome, it's nothing compared to how November is. But it gets worse than that, because I have to work. And I didn't request many days off this month for obvious reasons.
My point is, despite the fact that I want to do crazy G-month stuff, it takes too long, too much work, and also that I am too busy from other areas to keep up with.

And it's made even worse because, making the comic that accompanied this took too long. Took me about three hours to do it and I just barely finished and submitted it before 12 last night. And worse is that, today is going to be no different; I have to work today, and I also have to get picked up tonight to go do other things. So midnight strikes last night, and I realize I hadn't started packing. I'm not going to have any time to do it tonight because apart from a shower and a change of clothes, I'm going to have to leave right after work.

So that's my story. Here's the part that's important to you guys. Gamera. I gotta tell you, for a main attraction, he almost didn't happen. I was almost content with just showing other Gamera-Series monsters without him. But when I realized that Thanksgiving break was almost over, I decided to pass on Viras and make him instead. Took me a while because, you know how I am; I can't make a character sprite without second-guessing myself and comparing him to sprites made by Other people. (If you wanna call a Cyborg and a Brony, "People".)
Ultimately, Gamera is satisfying. I like how I did the chest and the shell. Everything else kind of fell into place around them. Gamera's skin is kind of greenish in Guardian of the Universe, so I implemented that. Unfortunately I couldn't get it dark enough to match what I wanted it to look like.

Anyways; I hope you enjoy the sprite, and note that you might not hear much from me in the next week. If I have the chance to submit a journal as to why, I'll be sure to tell you. Till then, ciao.
