Mothra Cancer - when I conceptualized this idea, I tried to imagine moths that would frequently be seen crawling across the ground. Which is why I gave them long spider-like legs. As you can probably notice, the abdomen is Shell-Plated - bearing a striking similarity to another being of the same name.--
The Tribe of Mothra Cancer live along the Coast-lines. They make their homes in caves and sand along the beaches. They live peaceful, yet alert lives. As the inhabitants of the outskirts of the Elias Tribe, they are the first defense against attackers.

Actually no - this particular breed of Mothra adapted crab-like features such as a shell and longer legs, to be better suited to survive the Coastal and Beach areas.
The Mothra's have a very versatile range of subspecies.
