Yay, second installment of my Hunchback of Notre Dame modernization fic! This one has a few more illustations, and even a colour piece. All the illustations are done with my tablet, referenced from screencaps. I'm generally too lazy to colour, but now and again you get lucky.If you don't understand the French (I really hope it's right, because if it's not I have no chance of passing french this year), translations:
-Nous pouvons commencer. - We can start.
-As-tu apportais le thingy? - Did you bring the thingy?
-Yeah, but je veux jouer aux guitar, too. - Yeah, but I want to play guitar, too.
-D’accord, whatever. Tu chantes maintenant. Bad Moon Rising, on start avec ça. -Okay, whatever. Bad Moon Rising, we'll start with that.
-Ne vous-enquitez pas about those idiots. - don't worry about those idiots.
-Oh, and eggball is a derisive slang for football.

I'm really enjoying this story! I must admit I have a weakness for AUs. But why is there Grade 12? And with the 'new grade 9' thing, is there middle school too? There's only école primaire and secondaire here, as far as I know.

Yay for Clopin! Gosh I love that guy! And I can totally picture him and the other gypsies modernized. I really loved one of your descriptions earlier. Something about "they just seemed to have an emphasis on the arts and a comtempt for authority" It sounds just like Clopin and Esme would act in school. Plus, after reading it more, the pictures really do enhance the experience. I love this!

I love the way you portray the characters and integrate the pictures... So many people try to put pictures in fanfiction and it usually looks awkward... But this is just awesomeness.
