I do a ton more pencil shading than anything else XD I used to do primarily monotone shadings in highschool, simply because teachers didn't like me drawing in class (despite the fact it helped me pay attention better, because I get nervouse when I'm not doing stuff to keep my hands busy XD; ) and it was alot easier to get away with when they didn't see me changing pencils all the time (or taking notes with colored pencils XD; )
I'm not the greatest, but I take pride in the fact I impressed my art teacher with the range of values I could achieve with a single .07 mechanical pen XD she believed you could only get a wide range using strictly drawing pencils XD I wish alot more of those values translated better to the computer and printer, but such is the limitations of technology XDD

I tend to get nervouse in social situations and drawing helps me feel detached and keeps me from ripping pens apart XD; it's a real problem! XD it's fun, too! It's kinda like a pacifier, but it's also part of who I am, and it's the way I communicate best with others XDD so I ignore people when they try to talk me down for it XP

XDD;; yeah? I can't draw half of them for my life, either (believe it or not, Kirby gives me much trouble D8 ) so I just fake it XDD apperently, it's working... I have you all fooled...
BTW, that picture of Dedede is really a picture of a boat... but it turned out like Dedede, so I called it that XDD see? I had you fooled all along

XDD Glad it could come across as both X3 Dedede used to be difficult for me to draw (the girth!) but I found some things in an old cartooning book that helped me more than anything XDD
