I usually draw the shadows using "shading stick". I'm not sure what's the right term for it in English because I don't even know the right term in my own language :'D
I usually draw eyes (and sometimes lips too) using propelling pencil (size 0,5 or/and 0,3). I use propelling pencil a lot, because I think it's the easiest way to draw all the details.
