probably they were trying to figure out wtf is going on,since both of them are normal persons who ended up in an extremely bizarre(and dangerous) situation,or maybe they were just scared,who kows?

I remember when I first saw this... Ahh yess.
I had just finished Portal 2 when I noticed that neither Chell or Gordon talk, and are apparently mute.
Was always puzzling really, because, knowing a mute person, they don't make much grunting or background noise.
But Chell and Gordon utter random noises in the games sometimes, mainly when hurt, and it's mostly ragged breathing. Meh.

But still have to admit, it would be killer if they made a Half Life/Portal game. A co-op game where one player plays as Chell with the Portal gun and one person plays as Freeman with the Grav gun.

I think this could actually be done if the Synergy dev team can manage to make the Portal Gun from Portal appear in-game.
Just 2 simple facts:
1) Portal 1 has all of the HL2 weapons, and medkits/medvials/crates/physics/etc, but I cannot get the flashlight to turn on.
2) It's a Source engine game, so I don't see why the server host can't just start Portal 1 and start a server through the console, then the other player joins using the connect command in the console.

There is no "covonet"
There is no Alix in ANY Valve game.

Only some of the Combine are aliens, a lot of them are humans who have joined them, that's why the Combine speak perfect English, and that's also how Barney got in.

i got mixed up with halo a bit but dude alyx vance get you facts straight .also the vortigaunts have the ability to transport themselfs by a pocket dimesion.and for glados I KNOW THAT DUDE I PLAYED THE CAMPAINGN so umm i know that glados will keep being revoived and gordon+prtal gun=badass

Nope. There never has been an Alix in any Valve game and probably never will be. If there ever is it will probably be a new Dystopia character, and Dystopia isn't even a game made by Valve, it's a mod.
